Each spring Yates has a Vegie Growing Challenge - it's free to join and there are some cool prizes up for grabs! Any New Zealander can enter - but entries close Sept 30th. Those who join in are asked to put up at least 3 blog entries over the 3 months of the competition - one each showing getting started growing a vegie type, making progress, and success with that vegie. Of course, you can post as many times as you like, but 3 is the minimum to be in the running for prizes. It's fun, motivating, and inspiring to read the other blog entries.
